Passionate about helping clients succeed, Ben combines over a decade of banking, credit analysis, and corporate finance experience with more than 15 years deeply embedded in the agricultural industry. He is known for structuring complex, large-scale transactions and delivering tailored financial solutions that create lasting value for clients across the food and agribusiness value chain. Before joining Ortus, Ben was a Director at Foundation Agri Finance, where he structured and executed major agricultural loans on behalf of the Prudential Insurance Company of America, introducing a long-term fixed-rate lending product to the Australian market. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade at Rabobank Australia in senior agribusiness roles, working with some of Australia’s largest family-owned and corporate agribusinesses and advising the country’s leading food and agri companies. Ben holds a Master of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics and Social Science from the University of Sydney. Based in regional NSW, he is kept busy outside of work with his young family.
